About the Camp

Program Highlights:

  • Kids ages 5-15, adults any age.
  • Skills ice session/parent and child combined.
  • Tactics ice session/parent and child combined.
  • Dry land training/parent and child combined.
  • Classroom lecture/parent and child combined.
  • Nightly game/child.
  • Nightly game/parent.
  • Coaching Clinics for parents.
  • Instructions by professional coaches, experienced teachers, and players.
  • Each camper receives a Hockey and Sons Jersey.
  • Professional photographer/Matt Polk.

Age Groups (approximate):

Groups will have approximately 20 kids per group, divided by skill and age as follows:

  • J.P. Parisé Group – 5 to 8 year olds
  • Larry Horstman Group – 9 to 10 year olds
  • Black Group – 11 to 12 year olds
  • Blue Group – 13 to 15 year olds

The group ages may vary depending on the number of kids per group.

Day 1/Check-In:

  • 2:00 pm – 4:00  pm          Registration, dorm check-in, and open ice.
  • 4:15 pm – 4:45  pm          Orientation
  • 4:45 pm – 6:00  pm          Dinner
  • 6:00 pm – 6:50  pm          J.P. Parisé Group ice time
  • 7:05 pm – 7:55  pm          Larry Horstman Group ice time
  • 8:10 pm – 9:00  pm          Black Group ice time
  • 9:15 pm –10:15 pm          Blue Group ice time

Days 2, 3, 4:

  • 7:00   am – 7:50    am       Goalie Practice
  • 8:00   am – 9:00    am       J.P. Parisé Group skills
  • 9:15   am – 10:15  am       Larry Horstman Group skills
  • 10:30 am – 11:30  am       Black Group skills
  • 11:45 am – 12:45  pm       Blue Group skills
  • 1:00   pm – 2:00   pm       J.P. Parisé Group tactics
  • 2:15   pm – 3:15   pm       Larry Horstman Group tactics
  • 3:30   pm – 4:30   pm       Black Group tactics
